Proposal Over Wine

 Carrie Middlemiss from Bella Cupcake Couture asked us to style this Paris cafe proposal scene for a magazine pitch.  We visualized a night time setting for a romantic propsal over wine and dessert.  The Art Nouveau movement was an inspiration so we chose elegant black and white prints and paired them with deep ruby red.  Carrie had asked graphic designer, Astrid Mueller, to create a proposal card which we incorporated into the narrative of the shoot.  Emici Bridal provided the silk flower brooch which we pinned to the napkin to create a surprising way to present the engagement ring.

 Miki of Clara French Ceramique created a fantastic tiered cake stand which we filled with cream puffs, eclairs, and beautiful berry tarts baked by Tallant House.  Trophy Cupcake baked up an assortment of pink frosted lemon raspberry and vanilla cream cupcakes which we set into black and white wrappers made by Bella Cupcake Couture.  We created a napkin band and floral wine glass coaster from a similar paper.

Other than actually being in Paris for our surprise proposal, I can't think of a sweeter scene.
