Bright Bold Gypsy Wedding at Herban Feast

Kim & Danyel were married in September 2012 at the wonderful Herban Feast Sodo event space.  We were lucky enough to help out with creating fun eclectic floral arrangements for the couple.  They were going for a woodsy yet playful gypsy feel for their wedding.  They wanted things bright and bold much to our delight.  They also wanted us to use a lot of herbs in their arrangements.  For the boutonniere we went with mint, rosemary, red berries, tiny orange blossoms and fern curls to add some whimsy.

For table arrangements we went with dahlias as they are so fresh and seasonal in mid September.  Maple leaves were nestled in for a lovely contrast of green.  Marigolds were also added as they love deep orange tones.  Vintage and new canning jars were used for all the arrangements as the venue has a lovely rustic vintage feel.

The aisle was lined in rows of deep orange Marigolds leading to the altar and chuppah.

We wrapped the poles with greenery and wired in loads of fresh seasonal blooms such as dahlias, roses, delphiniums, and of course more marigolds.

The bouquet needed to be more delicate to fit the vintage style of the bride's vintage 1930's dress.  We went with soft hydrangeas, creamy dahlia's, white berries, cone flowers, while mixing in their desired rosemary and some roses.  We also used the fern curls to add more texture and interest.

We loved working at this amazing venue and teaming up with Luxe Wedding Design for this festive event.  If you are looking for a breathtaking venue with rustic vintage charm and character you must consider Herban Feast.
